PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently dry a long object such as a pipe 1 including a recess 3a such as an outer diameter groove 3 formed on the peripheral face. SOLUTION: The pipe 1 as an object to be dried is placed in a cylindrical dryer 6, and high pressure air is injected at a stretch from first to third nozzles 8, 9, 10 generating a turning flow 25 to the inside of a cylindrical space 15. Thus, the turning flow is made to flow into the recess 3a of the outer diameter groove 3 of the pipe 1 so as to allow high speed drying. The turning flow is discharged from air discharge ports 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d in a lower tool 6b to the outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
