<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device, an abnormality detection method, and a fuel cell system, for determining in which of an oxygen sensor and an output processing circuit of the oxygen sensor an abnormality occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The abnormality detection device (30) includes a determination part (31) for determining whether or not an abnormality occurs in the oxygen sensor or in the output processing circuit (20) of the oxygen sensor based on an output from the oxygen sensor before the oxygen sensor (10) of a limiting current type starting by being heated by a heater (15) is heated by the heater.
