<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device capable of applying all the infrared rays radiated from a heater tube onto a target, and capable of efficiently heating the target in a short time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heating device 10A is formed with: a heater tube 13 elongate in the fore-and-aft direction, radiating infrared rays; and a reflective structure 12 having a circumferential wall 16 having an inner surface 15 formed in an oval cross sectional shape and an oval space 19 formed inside the circumferential wall 16. In the heating device 10A, the heater tube 13 is arranged on a first focal point f1 present on the long axis of the oval shape in the oval space 19, a target 24 is arranged on a second focal point f2 present on the long axis of the oval shape in the oval space 19, and infrared rays radiated from the heater tube 13 to be reflected on the inner surface 15 of the circumferential wall 16 are converged on the second focal point f2.
