<p>A thermally bonded laminate consisting of a film covered on both sides by a non-woven, e.g. spun-bonded or melt blown, has a linting coefficient of less than 2.7, preferably less than 2.2. Preferably the visible side has a coefficient of friction between 0.45 and 0.65. The film is microporous and the laminate can hold a water column of more than 500 cm with a water vapor permeability of more than 4000 g/m 2>/24h. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) A process for making such a laminate by means of a heat treatment, e.g. between 50 and 65 [deg]C, involving shrinkage in the longitudinal direction; (2) A disposable garment made of such a laminate.</p> |
