<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging bolt-supporting metal fitting which can surely and firmly be fixed to a messenger wire without causing slip even if large external forces due to a storm or the like are applied and which is convenient to use with a wide versatility in the range of the outside diameter size of the messenger wires. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hanging bolt-supporting metal fitting includes a fixing part body, which comprises: a base plate having a screw hole; a messenger wire fixing part formed by bending the top end of the base plate; a tightening plate that faces the base plate extending from the fixing part and that is provided with a male screw to pinch and fix the messenger wire arranged in the fixing part by fastening the male screw into the screw hole, and a supporting part, which supports a hanging bolt. In this metal fitting, a protruding part, which protrudes toward inside, is provided on the base plate, and pressing parts, which are provided astride the protruding part, are provided on the fixing part.
