A medical device (1) that is introduced into the body (101) and used in a fixed state is provided with a camera body (2) provided with a fixing means (4) fixed to the body wall (102) in the body, an imaging means (10) contained in the camera body in order to capture an image of an object to be tested in the body from an observation window (2b) formed in the camera body, a dirt removing means (15) provided in a state of being fixed to the camera body, a transparent cover member (3) movably disposed in the observation window with the outer surface thereof in contact with the dirt removing means, and a driving means (8) for driving the cover member and causing the cover member to come into sliding contact with the dirt removing means, whereby adhered matter adhered to the observation window can be easily and reliably removed, and thus a clear observation image can be obtained even when the adhered matter is being removed. |
