<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the upload procedure of a file in a file management system for displaying a plurality of symbol images showing the management units of a file like a matrix, and for, when one of the symbol images under display is selected, displaying the thumb nail image of a file registered so as to be associated with the selected symbol image. <P>SOLUTION: An upload target folder 1,002 or file 1,003 and a display area 1,004 related with a program having an upload function are displayed in a display 55 of a client terminal.
