<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk printing device writing desired information to an optical disk having a label layer in a short period of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical disk printing device includes: a driving means 10f for rotationally driving an optical disk 50 around a center hole; a thermal head 10h which has a plurality of heat generation elements arrayed at predetermined intervals in the diametrical direction of the optical disk and is configured to write desired information by applying heat from the heat generation element to the label layer of the optical disk; a platen roller 23 for abutting the label layer on a surface including the heat generation element by pressing the optical disk to the thermal head; and a control means 10a for controlling the heat generation state of the heat generation element and controlling the driving means to control writing of desired information to the optical disk. The thermal head prints information with areas set as pixels, the areas being obtained by equally dividing the label layer into a plurality in a diameterical direction and a peripheral direction, and each heat generation element has an area corresponding to each pixel arrayed in the diameterical direction.
