<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device for a vehicle for quickly moving a seat body without a sense of incongruity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The seat device 2 includes: a forward/rearward slide mechanism 11A installed on a vehicle body floor 12, movably supporting a support plate 15 in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body and having a drive unit 16 for advancing/retreating the support plate 15; a pushed out slide mechanism 11C movably supporting the seat body 10 in the longitudinal direction and having a drive unit 27 for advancing/retreating the seat body 10; a turning mechanism 11B supported on the support plate 15 and horizontally turning the pushed out slide mechanism 11C; and a control device 50. The control device 50 controls the drive units 16, 27 so as to move the seat body 10 in the back part direction by the pushed out slide mechanism 11C in synchronizing to move the support plate 15 in the vehicle front direction by the forward/rearward slide mechanism 11A.
