PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder reducing the fabrication costs with a simple construction by decreasing the number of component parts while the easiness in putting in a cup and taking out, and the holding performance are well maintained. SOLUTION: The cup holder has a body 1 which constitutes an accommodation part 11 to receive the bottom surface of a cup, and is provided with: an abutting member 2 which works when the cup is to be put in the accommodation part 11 in such a manner as swinging in the direction of retreating outward from inside the accommodation part under guidance of a first guide groove 26 for the first shaft part 16a and a second guide groove 27 for the second shaft part 16b owing to the load applied from the cup and restricts the motion in the radial direction of the cup A; and an energizing means 3 to energize the abutting member 2 in the direction of protruding. The invention is characterized in that the holder body has: an opening 13 provided in the periphery of the accommodation part to allow part of the abutting member 2 to emerge and retract; and supports 14 and 15 formed rigidly as protruding on the outer surface of the accommodation part periphery. The abutting member 2 is installed to the supports through fitting of the first shaft part 16a in the first guide groove 26, and fitting of the second shaft part 16b in the second guide groove 27.
