WIRELESS RECEIVER AND WIRELESS RECEIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance to interference by adjacent bands.

SOLUTION: A receiver of a wireless communication system transmits and receives data using a multicarrier transmission method, wherein the entire available frequency band is arranged into a plurality of subcarriers at predetermined frequency intervals. The receiver includes: a detection unit for detecting a state of communication of other communication devices that transmit data, using a frequency band adjacent to a frequency band used for receiving data by the receiver; a determination unit for determining a subcarrier to be used for demodulating the data modulated by a predetermined modulation method based on the detected state of communication of the other communication devices; and a demodulation unit for performing demodulation using the subcarrier determined to be used for demodulation. Each subcarrier that transmits data to be transmitted and received by the wireless communication system is modulated by a predetermined modulation method.
