<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device and a lens drive device capable of preventing the deterioration of thrust even in a high-temperature environment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A magnet (182) used in a voice coil motor of the drive device includes: a main magnet (182M); and a pair of sub-magnets (182S) provided to hold the main magnet from both ends thereof. The main magnet (182M) has first magnetic flux density and a first Curie point. The pair of sub-magnets (182S) have second magnetic flux density smaller than the first magnetic flux density and second Curie point higher than the first Curie point, respectively.
