PURPOSE: A viewing restriction method and a broadcasting receiver using the same are provided to enable a user to be informed of an event where viewing restriction had been released for a particular user. CONSTITUTION: If a password is inputted to release the viewing restriction of a television, a viewing limit list generating module(802) determines the information on time released from viewing restriction. The viewing limit list generating module generates a viewing restriction list including the information on time released from viewing restriction. The viewing limit list generating module stores the viewing restriction list in a memory. An output module(803) outputs the viewing restriction list on a display screen. |
