<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately handle and support different kinds of rolled materials using one packing material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This packing material 10 is provided with a pallet 12, a pair of receiving panels 14 provided standing on the pallet 12, a pair of support panels 16 provided with a shaft receiving part 28 for supporting the shaft of a rolled material and engaged with upward recesses 20 formed on the panel 14 and a cover 18 which is provided with downward recesses 22 and engages with the panel 16. The material 10 is provided with an interval adjusting means 32 for adjusting the interval between the panels 16. The means 32 comprises the upward recesses 20 and the downward recesses 22 formed at a plurality of positions and the interval is set by fitting the panels 16 between any of the recesses 22 and recesses 20 of the plurality of recesses 20 and 22.
