<p>A measurement signal generation device is suitably applied to an AV system and the like configured to feasibly generate a measurement signal used for a sound field correction. Concretely, based on an average value of correlation values between two channels in a plurality of channels and a standard deviation, a measurement signal generation means determines an amount for carrying out the mixing of two signals between the two channels. Further, the measurement signal generation device generates a measurement signal by mixing of two signals between the two channels based on the determined mixing amount, so that the measurement signal generation device generates measurement signals provided for a plurality of channels. This can generate a measurement signal with a correlation between channels close to actual contents, the correction of a sound field is carried out by using the measurement signal, and it becomes possible to eliminate a gap with an evaluation at actual reproduction time of contents.</p> |
