<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system for a vehicle that prevents adverse effects on wireless communication utilized by a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The charging system for the vehicle has a coil 5 for executing noncontact charging from a loop coil 6 of a vehicle external device to an in-vehicle battery 25 mounted in a vehicle, while being equipped with a vehicle-side charging control device 24, that transmits a charging start request signal and a charging stop request signal to the vehicle external device, when prescribed conditions are established. If vehicle doors are locked, the vehicle-side charging control device 24 transmits the charging start request signal to the vehicle external device.
