<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing with a non-contact seal which has a labyrinth clearance and prevents a fine particle such as fine dust or liquid from entering via a small ring-like opening part of the labyrinth clearance, thereby improving the sealing ability. <P>SOLUTION: A seal 4 has an outer peripheral edge 4a fixed to an outer ring 1 which rotates, and an inner peripheral edge 4b coming close to the inside of a peripheral groove 2a formed in the outer periphery of an inner ring 2 which does not rotate without contact, to form the labyrinth clearance 6. A step surface 4d which is recessed inwardly toward the bearing is formed along an opening of the labyrinth clearance 6 of the roller bearing in an outside surface 4c of the ring-like seal 4. A blade 8 for blowing is projected from the step surface 4d toward the bearing outside, and extended toward the labyrinth clearance 6. Air supplied in the circumferential direction with the blade 8 for blowing effectively flows to the inner diameter side without evacuation in the outer diameter direction, and an airflow arises along the opening of the labyrinth clearance 6, so that a foreign matter in the vicinity of the opening can be blown out sufficiently by the pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
