<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle capable of protecting a differential device against an excessive load when a wheel speed sensor fails. <P>SOLUTION: A drive control ECU calculates the input rotational speed RevFin of the differential device according to the signals input from an engine rotational speed sensor and a motor generator rotational speed sensor therein when the wheel speed sensor fails (step S11). The drive control ECU controls a driving force generating device in such a manner that the input rotational speed RevFin of the differential device does not exceed the upper limit value obtained from a difference in rotational speed between right and left wheels which is allowed in the differential device (step S13). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
