<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp device and an illumination fixture, which are equipped with a loop-shaped bulb, and which can stabilize light output even if the peripheral temperature of the bulb is fluctuated in a wide range. <P>SOLUTION: The electrodeless discharge lamp device 100 includes the loop-shaped bulb 1, two ferrite cores 3 arranged in a shape to cover two respective sites in the bulb 1, an induction coil 2 wound round the respective ferrite cores 3, and a lighting device 4 connected to both induction coils 2. An amalgam housing container 5, in which mercury amalgam (not illustrated) is housed, is arranged inside a tubular part 1c protruding outward from the bulb 1. Then, a portion of the amalgam housing container 5 has a support part 1e to support the amalgam housing container 5 in a protruded state in a discharge space inside the bulb 1, and an elastic body 6 which is arranged on a side farther from the discharge space in a tubular axis direction of the tubular part 1c, and presses the amalgam housing container 5 to the support part 1e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
