PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing member that suppresses damage to a developing roller (developer carrier), and to provide a developing device with the sealing member. SOLUTION: The sealing member (side seal member 61) includes a surface member 61B, and a base material 61A more elastically deformable than the surface member 61B.
