<p>The mounting assembly, for circuit boards and similar devices, consists of locking hooks (2, 3) that engage in elongated rectangular holes (4) in the board (5). Each hook is rectangular and has a projection (3) at one end and that slides beneath the board (i.e. behind the rectangular hole) when the board is moved in the direction of the longest axis of the hole. The resulting gap between the back of the hook and the end edge of the hole is filled by a locking post (7). The locking post slides down into this gap.
