摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction method for promoting a liquid-phase reaction, a metal oxide nanoparticle and metal oxide nanoparticle-highly-dispersed/deposited carbon each of which is formed by using the reaction method, an electrode containing the formed carbon and an electrochemical element using the electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The reaction method comprises a chemical reaction step of exerting shear stress and centrifugal force on reactants in a revolving reactor to promote a chemical reaction. The carbon, which is composed of: the metal oxide nanoparticle produced by exerting shear stress and centrifugal force on reactants in the revolving reactor; and carbon dispersed by exerting shear stress and centrifugal force on reactants in the revolving reactor and on which metal oxide nanoparticles are deposited highly dispersedly, is formed by using this reaction method at the chemical reaction step.
