PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook cutting machine capable of easily cutting a moving hook formed on a casting pattern for a die formed by casting. SOLUTION: The hook cutting machine comprises a band saw unit 10 in which an endless band saw blade 11 is stretched around a drive roller 12 and guide rollers 13a, 13b, and when the drive roller 12 is turned by a drive motor 15, the endless band saw blade 11 is moved along outer circumferences of the drive roller 12 and the guide rollers 13a, 13b, and a turn-driving mechanism 20 which is fixed to a casting pattern 80 for a die when cutting a moving hook 81 formed in the casting pattern 80 for the die to turn the band saw unit 10 in the cutting direction of the moving hook 81 by the endless band saw blade 11.
