<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a switching time of distribution paths and to minimize the occurrences of switching the distribution paths when performing hand-off between base stations managed by different gateways while a mobile terminal performs half-duplex many-to-many multi-address communication. <P>SOLUTION: In this communication system in which mobile terminals perform half-duplex many-to-many multi-address communication with each other, when a mobile terminal 100a during communication performs hand-off from under a base station 101a managed by a first gateway 104a to under a base station 101b managed by a second gateway 104b, the first gateway 104a shortens a time of switching distribution paths during hand-off by keeping receiving communication data without disconnecting the distribution paths, and suppresses the occurrences of useless switching when a distribution path is established between a distribution device 106 and itself regardless of distributing the communication data to the other mobile terminal or transferring the communication data to the second gateway 104b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
