The device has a conveyor (1) with a receiving surface (2) for feeding plastic foam (20) and cutting units (3) arranged between two holders (4) at a distance from the receiving surface. The distance of the cutting unit to the receiving surface is varied in a linear proportion to the feeding. The holders are movably mounted in a guidance arranged stationarily to conveyor. The holders are pivotably mounted around a pivoting point arranged stationarily to conveyor. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a plastic foam plate from plastic foams.
