The valve device (6) has a valve arrangement for connecting an air bellows (3) with a compressed air supply connection (18) or a venting connection (12). A mechanical control element acts on the valve arrangement such that the arrangement connects the air bellows with the supply connection or the venting connection or blocks the air bellows against the supply and venting connections by adjusting the control element. The control element is adjustable by a manual operating element (9) and magnetic valves (7, 8).
