<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of reducing a change in luminance occurring when gradation characteristics change, and to provide a projector, a program, an information storage medium and an image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: The projector is composed by including an image feature amount generating section 150 for generating the feature amount of an image from an image signal for each frame; a differential value generating section 160 for holding the generated feature amount during a one frame and generating the differential value between the feature amount before a held vertical scanning period or more and the feature amount of a present vertical scanning period; a correcting coefficient generating section 170 for generating a coefficient expressing the degree of correction of gradation characteristic data on the basis of the differential value; and a luminance signal output section 130 for correcting the gradation characteristic data on the basis of the correction coefficient and outputting a luminance signal on the basis of the corrected gradation characteristic data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
