FIELD: electrical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method proceeds from the dependence of capacity of flat air capacitor upon spacing between its armatures. Flat capacitor armature represents each of plates n of commutator that makes, together with air gap, a capacitive transducer. The plate is fixed relative to motor rotor shaft. Capacity of said capacitor features inverse dependence on the spacing between commutator plate surface and measuring plate. Sine current is fed from AC source via brushes to commutator plates and measuring plate, current voltage having constant amplitude and frequency where ë is armature angular speed, n is the number of commutator contact plates. Note that current flowing through measuring capacitor is modulated in amplitude, in proportion to the gap between measuring plate and commutator plates, constant angular frequency and rpm. Then current profile and extreme values of modulated signal envelope are compared with rated magnitudes. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement. ^ 3 dwg |
