PURPOSE: A cover locking device of a portable terminal is provided to install a locker on the side wall of the body of a terminal, thereby improving the visual quality of the portable terminal and increasing the availability of spaces of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A terminal cover(100) is attached on one side of a terminal body and includes a holding hook(120) on one end of the terminal cover. A locker(200) is installed in the side of a terminal body and includes a push button(210) whose one end is exposed to the outside and a locking hook which locks or unlocks the holding hook. The locking hook is extended toward pressing direction on the push button. A spring(300) is installed in the side wall of the terminal body in order to supply elastic recovery force to the locker according to the pressing operation of the push button.
