PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power plant for an automobile to minimize the generation of indoor noise and provide a comfortable riding feeling for a passenger. SOLUTION: A power plant mount for an automobile is constituted that a power plant is mounted on a car body at a mount 8 on the engine side, at a mount on the transmission side, and at front and rear mounts. In this case, the mount on the engine side comprises an insulator 16 where rigidity in a longitudinal direction is lower than rigidity in a vertical direction, and its shaft center is situated in the same direction as that of the inertial main shaft of an engine, a coupling means to couple a bolt 28 fixed at the shaft center of the insulator with a bolt bracket 32 arranged at the front side part of an engine; and a mounting bracket 18 on the car body side wherein the lower part of the insulator is directly fixed at the side member of a car body.
