[PROBLEMS]To provide a disposable diaper capable of preventing the sticking of feces and/or urine to the buttocks due to the back flow without damaging the performance thereof of absorbing watery feces or the like. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A disposable diaper having a top sheet (30), which comprises a width-direction central area (31) extending from the front end to the back end through the part facing the buttock crevice, a left intermediate area (32) and a right intermediate area (32) being located respectively in the left and right sides of the width-direction central area and extending from the front end to the back end respectively through the parts facing the left buttock and the right buttock, and a left area (33) and a right area (33) extending from the front end to the back end respectively along the left side of the left intermediate area and the right side of the right intermediate area, wherein a number of through holes (H) are formed at definite intervals in the width-direction central area (31), the left area (33) and the right area (33) but no through hole (H) is formed in the left intermediate area (32) and the right intermediate area (32).
