METHOD FOR SETTING FRAME RATE CONVERSION AND DISPLAY APPARATUS APPLYING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A frame rate conversion setting method and a display device thereof are provided to set the level of a ME/MC(Motion Estimation/Motion Compensation) during converting a frame rate according to an inputted level value. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(190) receives a level value from a user. A controlling unit(180) sets the level of a ME/MC according to the inputted level value. The controlling unit sets the level of the ME/MC which represents the degree how much the ME/MC is applied during converting the frame rate. A display unit(160) displays a mobile cursor along a graph and the graph for inputting the level value.
