METHOD AND APPARATUS OF GENERATING HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE IMAGE

PURPOSE: An HDR(High Dynamic Range) image generating method and a device thereof are provided to improve image quality without ghost phenomenon and generate a clear HDR image by using a long exposure image and a short exposure image. CONSTITUTION: A brightness correcting unit(210) corrects a first image and a second image so that the lightness is same. A motion region detecting unit(220) detects a region where the movement exists with the first image and the second image. An HDR image generating unit(230) corrects the lightness of the first image to the lightness of the second image in the motion detected region. The HDR image generating unit replaces the motion detected region with the corresponding region of the second image. The HDR image generating unit generates the HDR image.
