AN ACUTE NOZZLE DEVICE FOR A HOT RUNNER PROBE

PURPOSE: An acute nozzle device of a hot runner probe is provided to remove machining tolerance of micron size by forming a tip portion to enable different setting of the diameter of a gate. CONSTITUTION: A hot runner probe(1) has a runner passage, wherein the front end of the probe is formed in a conical shape and nozzle holes(9) are pierced in the tip portion of the front end. An external heating tip heater(5) is wound and a probe cover covers the outer circumference of the probe which has the tip portion. A groove is formed at the front part of the probe cover. The thermal energy of the tip heater is transmitted to the gate of a mold and resin in the mold is heated to be melted and molded. The resin is cooled and hardened by cutting off the current applied to the tip heater and a nozzle opens/closes the gate of the mold.
