摘要 PURPOSE: A monitoring method of an underground pipe using optical fiber is provided to use any kind of underground pipe, to have low probability of loss of optical fiber while attaching the optical fiber, and to accurately measure water leakage or deformation of an underground pipe. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring method of an underground pipe using optical fiber comprises the following steps. A first resin(10) is spread on the surface of an underground pipe(P) along the longitudinal direction and dried. Optical fiber(20) is attached on the first resin layer. A second resin(40) is spread on the optical fiber and dried. Temperature and strain are measured by analyzing reflected light from the fixed optical fiber by the first resin and the second resin.
