The device has a molding box (2) whose face receives and/or accommodates a nozzle (1) of an injector, where the nozzle projects inside the box. A support (3b) is mounted on the face of the molding box for axially positioning an end of a rectilinear rod with respect to a diesel ejection orifice (5) of the injector and along an oil-gas ejection axis of the nozzle. An injection orifice is utilized for injecting Plexiglas(RTM: light, transparent, weather-resistant thermoplastic) on the face of the box. A depression setting unit sets depression inside the box. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming a piece to measure injection speed of a jet from an injector through laser velocimetry.
