The gun (1) has a flat nozzle from which fluid or pourable medium is discharged by compression air. An upper section (2) is provided in a proximal area in the nozzle and operates in a sound-absorbing and/or sound-damping manner. An adapter (10) attaches the upper section on the gun. The upper section includes a casing (9) that is partially perforated, where an outer side of the casing is lined with a foam material layer. A gun body (3) is connected to a compression air pipe (4) and an adhesive supply (5).
