<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which has a simple structure and is capable of simultaneously discharging fine dust and coarse dust contained in gathered dust and easily and sanitarily discarding the dust stored inside. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes a dust collecting cup 21 opened on the downstream side of air flow, a lid-like member 22 connected so as to open and close the opening of the dust collecting cup 21, a main filter 220 held by the lid-like member 22, and a sub filter 24 disposed on the upstream side of the main filter 220.
