<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle detector more simply performing the replacement of a through-hole installed member provided with a through-hole corresponding to the size of a particle being a detection target. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The particle detector 1 includes: the through-hole installed member 4 provided with the through-hole 10 for permitting a particle suspension containing particles to pass; a mounting instrument 5 on which the through-hole installed member 4 is mounted; a liquid moving part for moving the particle suspension so as to pass the same through the through-hole 10; and a particle detecting means for detecting the particles passed through the through-hole 10. The mounting instrument 5 includes a receiving part 21 having a hole part 20 for receiving the upper end part of the through-hole installed member 4, and the through-hole installing member 4 is fixed to the mounting instrument 5 by inserting the upper end part of the through-hole installing member 4 in the hole part 20.
