SOLUTION: The image display system includes: an image memory 64 wherein at least first radiation image information S1and second radiation image information S2are recorded; a data memory 66 wherein various kinds of information are registered; a background image display part 70 for displaying the second radiation image information S2by the radiation of high energy as a background image; a frame display part 74 for displaying a frame 72 in the background image 68; a load subtraction processing part 76 for obtaining the composite image S by performing load subtraction processing of the first radiation image information S1and the second radiation image information S2only for a range within the displayed frame 72; and a composite image display part 78 for displaying the obtained composite image S in the range within the frame.
