The solar reflector (4) has a transparent reflector substrate (10), on which an external laterally reflector coating system (18) is applied, where the reflector coating system is covered by a lacquer protective layer (14). The reflector layer system has a dielectric intermediate layer system (16) that is arranged between a metallic reflector layer (12) and the reflector substrate. Two dielectric layers (20,22) are provided, which are made of titanium dioxide and silicon dioxide respectively. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a thermal solar power station, particularly parabolic trough power station, which has a receiving tube; and (2) a method for manufacturing a solar reflector.
