<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter which enables selection of an appropriate measuring range in accordance with an actual flow rate. <P>SOLUTION: The flowmeter includes: a channel holder 10 provided with a main channel 11, three or more holes 4a, 4b, 6a, and 6b communicating with the main channel 11, and a split-flow channel 25 communicating with the main channel 11 through the holes 4a, 4b, 6a, and 6b; a stopping-up member 21A for stopping up a plurality of holes 4a and 4b other than two holes 6a and 6b selected from among the three or more holes 4a, 4b, 6a, and 6b; a flow sensor 8 for detecting the flow rate of a fluid flowing in the split-flow channel 25; selected-hole detecting mechanisms 9A and 9B for detecting the selected holes; a split-ratio memory device 400 for storing information on a split ratio between the split-flow channel 25 and the main channel 11 in accordance with the selected holes; and a calculation module 300 for calculating the flow rate of a fluid flowing in the main channel 11, based on the flow rate of the fluid flowing in the split-flow channel 25 and information on the split ratio in accordance with the detected selected holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
