<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that has an object side lens guided by a guide bar. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes a first guide shaft disposed on an inner circumferential side of a cylindrical fixed tube in an axial direction of the fixed tube, a second guide shaft disposed on an outer circumferential side of the fixed tube in the axial direction and at least partly overlapping with the first guide shaft in a longitudinal direction of the first guide shaft, a first holding member holding a first lens and having a first engagement part engaging with the first guide shaft for movement along the first guide shaft, and a second holding member holding a second lens positioned on an object side of the first lens and having a second engagement part engaging with the second guide shaft for movement along the second guide shaft. The movement stroke of the first engagement part on the first guide shaft and the movement stroke of the second engagement part on the second guide shaft at least partly overlap in the axial direction.
