New bis-alpha,alpha-difluoroamine compounds, useful for producing fluoro-containing compounds for medicaments and agrochemicals

Bis-alpha ,alpha -difluoroamine compounds (I), are new. Bis-alpha ,alpha -difluoroamine compounds of formula R1R2NCF 2NHCF 2NR3R4 (I), are new. Either R1-R4 : alkyl, [2-12C-alkylene-O] n-(1-9C-alkyl), 3-7 membered saturated or partially unsaturated heterocyclyl, 3-6 membered heteroaryl, aryl or arylalkyl; or R1R2 or R3R4 : 3-12 membered saturated or unsaturated ring; and n : 1-3. Independent claims are included for: (1) a mixture comprising (I), a nitrogen-containing base, which contains no fluorine atoms in alpha position to nitrogen and additional hydrogen fluoride; (2) preparation of (I); and (3) preparing fluoro-containing compounds by reacting a compound containing hydroxy and/or carbonyl groups with (I).
