<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a linear tool disk for precision-machining a highly fragile material such as plate glass or rigid plastic by high speed rotation and reciprocation while holding both ends of a linear tool. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of spindles (11a and 11b) are coaxially and oppositely provided. Chucks (12a and 12b) for holding the linear tool (25) are also provided respectively at opposite ends of the respective spindles (11a and 11b). Rotators (13a and 13b) for synchronously rotating the pair of spindles (11a and 11b) at high speed and a reciprocating device (8) for synchronously and axially reciprocating the pair of spindles (11a and 11b) are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
