<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jet pump capable of improving the efficiency of the jet pump. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The jet pump 13 includes a nozzle 14, a bell mouth 15, a throat 16, a diffuser 17, and a nozzle holder 18. The nozzle 14 disposed to the nozzle holder 18 is arranged above the bell mouth 15. The throat 16 has a first straight pipe 16A of a mixing part, a tapered pipe 16B, and an insertion pipe 16C of a straight pipe, which are arranged from the upper end to a lower end. The first straight pipe 16A is connected to the lower end of the bell mouth 14, and the diffuser 17 is connected to the insertion pipe 16C with a slip joint 19. A triangular groove 20A is formed to the inner surface of the bell mouth 15, a triangular groove 20B is formed to the inner surface of a second straight pipe 16A, and a triangular groove 20C is formed to the inner surface of the insertion pipe part 16C. Since the triangular groove 20C is formed to the insertion pipe 16C of the straight pipe, the efficiency of the jet pump is improved, and vibration is reduced. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
