<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device that allows a user to simultaneously use a broadcast wave storage processing part and another application. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device has: a broadcast wave storage processing part for executing storage processing to store first data, obtained from an broadcast wave received by a receiving part, in a memory part; an application executing part for executing at least one application so as to store second data, acquired by executing the application, in the memory part; and a management part for managing a state of each part. When the broadcast wave storage processing part is in the storage processing during the start-up of a prescribed application, the application executing part makes a securement request for securing a storage capacity for use by the prescribed application in the memory part of the broadcast wave storage processing part. The broadcast wave storage processing part secures a storage capacity exceeding the storage capacity used by the prescribed application in an available region of the memory part so as to prevent the first data from being stored in the secured storage capacity part, thereby allowing a user to simultaneously use the broadcast wave storage processing part and another application. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
