<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for preventing the rear end of a recording medium from coming into contact with a guide member. <P>SOLUTION: The guide member 30 for guiding the recording medium P to a fixing nip N3 is disposed on the upstream side of the fixing nip N3 in the conveying direction of the recording medium and on the unfixed image forming surface side of the recording medium P. The guide surface 33 on the side of a recording medium conveying path R1 of the guide member 30 includes a first guide surface 33a and a second guide surface 33b which is disposed at such a place that at least the rear end of the recording medium P approaches, on the upstream side of the first guide surface 33a in the conveying direction of the recording medium and inclined in a direction away from the recording medium conveying path R1 with respect to the first guide surface 33a. A spur 31 is rotatably disposed in the guide member 30 and more projected to the side of the recording medium conveying path R1 than a connection part where the first guide surface 33a and the second guide surface 33b are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
