<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of easily and sanitarily discarding gathered dust without scattering it. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes a dust collecting cup 21 opened on the downstream side of air flow, a lid-like member 22 capable of opening and closing the opening of the dust collecting cup 21, and a basket-like dust collecting bucket 23 supported so as to be projected from the lid-like member 22 and capable of attaching a disposable filter 24. In the dust collecting bucket 23, frame-like members 231 and 232 adjacent to each other are stored inside the lid-like member 22 and the disposable filter 24 is clamped by the frame-like members 231 and 232 adjacent to each other.
