The cooling device has a housing (2), where a cooling chamber (7) is arranged within the housing. A cooling circuit is provided with an air duct for supplying of cooled air in the cooling chamber. A freezer (32) is arranged inside the cooling chamber. A latent heat storage unit is provided with a cooling unit which is designed for cooling the freezer. The cooling unit is thermally coupled in the air duct in a partial manner.
